after seeing my
children and my wife
safe
i realized that the
wreck that just happened
could have changed the future
and the
now
that truly left
an
indelible spot
in my mind

struggling is really a foolish thing to do
but
my mind continually leads me down the same path
i wrestle awkwardly
with the process
